Smarkly launches an AI marketing co-pilot for small teams and founders

Smarkly gives small marketing teams the capacity of a bigger team without adding headcount. It learns the company from its own sources, keeps up with its market, plans the calendar and drafts for every channel, and the team decides what goes out.

VISTA, Calif. (October 27, 2026): Smarkly LLC today launched Smarkly, the AI marketing co-pilot for small teams and founders. Smarkly learns a company and its voice from the sources it trusts, keeps up with its competitors and industry, plans and drafts for every channel, and organizes the team on one shared calendar, so a founder or a team of two or three can show up like a much bigger one. It's available today at smarkly.com with a 14-day free trial, no card required.

Small marketing teams compete with big ones using a fraction of the people. Someone still has to research the market and competitors, plan the launches, write the content and keep everyone telling the same story. AI was supposed to close that gap, but it often adds a job instead: checking its work. In a 2026 NP Digital study of 565 U.S. marketers, 36.5% said inaccurate AI content had already gone live, and more than 70% spend one to five hours a week fact-checking AI output.

Smarkly takes on the marketing work that matters but keeps getting pushed aside for whatever is due today. It works like a new member of the marketing team:

  • Learn. It builds one company profile from the company's website, documents and past content, and every draft is written from it.
  • Track. It reads industry news and competitor sites on a schedule and scores each story for relevance, so the team acts on what matters.
  • Plan. It suggests the dates worth marking and plans posts around launches and events on one shared editorial calendar.
  • Write. It turns one topic into a blog post, an email and social posts in the company's voice.
  • Align. Everyone on the team, plus the contractors and agencies they bring in, works from the same facts.

Unlike general-purpose chatbots, Smarkly starts from the company, not the prompt. Drafts state what the company's own sources say, and any claim those sources don't back is marked for review instead of stated as fact. Smarkly doesn't post on its own: it drafts and schedules, and the team reviews and publishes each post.

"Small teams don't need more AI. They need the work that quietly falls off the list to get done. That work is what separates big teams from small ones, and it's what Smarkly picks up," said Joe Nguyen, founder of Smarkly.

Smarkly is built for in-house teams keeping one story straight, startups shipping every week, agencies running a dozen brands, founders wearing every hat and credit unions serving members at every stage of life.
