Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Smarkly LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and Service. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them to operate the Service, remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the Service is used.

2. Types We Use

Essential cookies — required for core functionality such as authentication and security. These cannot be disabled.

Analytics (PostHog) — used to understand usage and improve the Service. For every visitor, PostHog does not load, set cookies or send anything until you click 'OK, use analytics'.

Operational, not analytics — our error monitoring (Sentry) and a few server-side events about signed-in accounts (for example, an AI generation finishing or reaching a usage limit) run regardless of your analytics choice. They set no cookies and are used only to run and secure the Service.

3. Managing Cookies

You can choose through our consent banner, change your choice any time with the Cookie preferences link in the site footer (or in Settings when signed in), and use your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect functionality.
